Great Steaks At The Outback
It’s always kind of nice, when you can get great food in a casual setting. For several reasons actually. First of all, I know that when I get the bill at the end of the meal, it’s not going to cost me half my pay check. Secondly, I just feel more comfortable in a setting that’s not quite so fancy. I’ve been to those ultra fancy places, where everyone and everything seems pretentious, and they charge you big bucks for a little bit of food. Not for me thanks. But the Outback Steakhouse is not really like that at all. These guys specialize in casual dining at great prices. Not to be confused, with casual dining at great prices with lousy food. I’ve been to those places too, and I’m really not a fan.   The Outback, was actually voted best steak by the Zagat survey. Now, that’s my kinda food.
Plus these guys are good corporate citizens as well. They been around for over twenty years, and have always tried to give back to the communities they operate in. For instance, their currently trying to raise one million dollars for Operation Homefront. Operation Homefront is a non profit charity, that takes care of US troops and their families in any way that they can. Both through morale support, and help during emergency situations. And we all know the troops deal with a lot of emergencies. They really can use your support. Personally, I like spending my money at places that have a view of the bigger picture, and know enough to take care of those that support them.
The Outback has also partnered with country singer Tim McGraw to raise awareness for this campaign. His summer concert will sell t-shirts with the proceeds going towards Operation Homefront. So, if your thinking of where to go after your next Tim McGraw for some grog and grub, I think you have a pretty good idea as to where to go. What could be better than having a great time at the show, the restaurant, and helping out those who could use a helping hand. I know where I’ll be going.
